Dear Beloved in Christ
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We write to extend a solemn and prophetic call to intercession to the Body of Christ across South Africa. This
call arises from a divine mandate rooted in the historic “Africa Back to God” commission entrusted by Abba to
Pastor Nicholas Bhengu, and now reawakened in our generation.
Following a season of focused intercession in the Eastern Cape, the Lord revealed His intention to unite the
Church through prayer, calling intercessors to stand in the gap for national and continental spiritual realignment.
This mandate was conveyed apostolically through Apostle Madikiza and has now been entrusted to Apostles
Desemela and Hlobo for national stewardship.
In response, intercessors from across the Republic are being summoned to gather in unity at a National
Intercessory Convergence to be held at Mew Way Hall on the first weekend of March. This gathering forms part
of a broader National Day of Prayer mobilisation, with intercession positioned as the forerunner of revival,
repentance, and restoration.
In preparation for this sacred assembly, district and provincial prayer gatherings are being convened nationwide
to prepare the ground—spiritually and corporately—through repentance, consecration, and unified prayer.
We invite all:
Intercessors
Prayer warriors
Church fraternals
Apostolic and prophetic networks
Five-fold ministry leaders
to respond to this call with humility, obedience, and expectation.
May the Lord find a praying Church, aligned in heart and voice, ready to partner with heaven for the restoration
of our land.
Yours in Christ,
National Intercessory Convening Team

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We trust that this correspondence finds you well and steadfast in the work of the Kingdom. We write with deep reverence for the historic mandate and apostolic legacy carried by the Assemblies of God in South Africa, and with sincere appreciation for your continued stewardship of the faith.
Towards the close of 2025, Apostle Madikiza visited the Great Commission Fraternal to deliver a revival message entrusted to him by Abba, directed specifically to the intercessors of the Western Cape, with Cape Town as a focal point. This visit formed part of a broader apostolic assignment placed upon his life. Later that same day, President Makili accompanied Apostle Madikiza to a Pastors’ gathering in Kraaifontein, where the substance and scope of this mandate were formally presented to assembled church leaders.
This message was anchored in the historic “Africa Back to God” mandate that underpinned the commissioning of Pastor Nicholas Bhengu, founding father of the Christian faith in South Africa and founder of the Assemblies of God Church. In this context, Apostle Madikiza’s visit was apostolic in nature—directed at five-fold ministry leadership—with a deliberate emphasis on intercessors as the forerunners and sustainers of this divine movement, in alignment with the word given by Abba to Pastor Bhengu.
As detailed in Apostle Madikiza’s accompanying correspondence, this commissioning arose from a focused season of intercession convened in the Eastern Cape under the banner of the Covenant Partners Intercessory Group. During this time, the Lord revealed His intent to unite the Body of Christ across South Africa through the ministry of intercession, as a pathway toward national and continental spiritual realignment.
This mandate has since been entrusted to Apostles Desemela and Hlobo, who are stewarding the clarion call for intercessors to gather nationally at Mew Way Hall on the first weekend of March, as part of a wider National Day of Prayer mobilization.
In preparation for this national convergence, a series of district and provincial prayer gatherings are being convened. These preparatory assemblies seek to cultivate oneness of heart, oneness of voice, and spiritual consecration, enabling both the Church and the land to respond to the speakings of Adonai, as declared through the ages.
We submit this background for your prayerful consideration and discernment, trusting the Holy Spirit to lead His Church into unity, obedience, and divine alignment in this appointed season.
Yours in Christ’s service,
On behalf of the Apostolic and Intercessory Leadership
